Governance Structure
HTT DAO uses a transparent, collaborative governance model that reflects our focus on usability, reward redemption, and community participation — without staking or speculative voting power.
🧩 Core Roles
- Contributors: Community members who help propose or review platform policies.
- Vendors: Approved partners (hotels, transport, tours) who may vote on reward structures or platform updates.
- Admin Council: Temporary steering group responsible for emergency actions, multisig approvals, and enforcing DAO rules.
📜 Proposal Types
- ⚙️ Change reward percentage or affiliate payout
- 🏨 Approve new vendor categories (e.g., “Spa Services”)
- 🛡️ Suggest security rule updates (withdrawal limits, KYC tiers)
- 📈 Add community incentives or remove features
📬 How Decisions Are Made
We currently use an off-chain voting mechanism:
- Discussion Phase: Proposals are discussed via Telegram, Discord, or the community form.
- Voting Phase: Snapshot or off-chain survey tools are used to collect votes (equal voting power).
- Execution: Admins carry out approved proposals and publish actions on the Transparency page.
🧱 Future Upgrade Plan
- Phase 1: Manual Proposals with Admin Execution
- Phase 2: Snapshot Integration (2025 Q4)
- Phase 3: On-chain Voting via Smart Contract (optional, 2026+)
